In November we asked our shoppers (via the bulletin board in the hallway), "What are you thankful for?" The following represents the diverse expressions of gratitude that our members jotted down on scraps of paper and shared with us this Thanksgiving:

Employment! :)
I've got a wife I <3, sewed my broken heart back together again. I've 2 daughters I <3!
Plentiful, potable drinking water.
My parents used American Sign Language with me from birth so being deaf did not mean my life would be limited.
I am really thankful for my “real” family (those who really care & love me). I am so thankful to have Don, Jessica, Melissa, Mah-Mah, Linda; my roommates as my family! I love you guys!
The Occupation
I am thankful for my friends.
I am thankful for: my family, bees that make me honey, flowers that smell scrumptious, fishes make tasty sushi, cows that make me milk for cheese and ice cream, a warm place to live, trees for air, warm sun on my face, rain to dance in, someone who love me more than life itself.
I'm thankful for Home Birth! And yummy food!
I am thankful for everything my mommy & daddy does in the whole entire universe.
I'm thankful to find out that I'm not the only one still pissed about this never-ending war! & my sweet children who keep me going.
